Dysons has been awarded a new two-year contract to deliver Metro Trains Melbourne’s (MTM) Rail Replacement services across Melbourne’s north-west region, extending a partnership that has spanned more than two decades.

The contract covers both planned project works and business-as-usual (BAU) operations, ensuring reliable and high-quality replacement bus services during rail disruptions and essential network upgrades. It builds on Dysons’ proven track record of keeping passengers moving across a multitude of major projects in Victoria.

“Feedback from the Metro team on our tender response was very strong, and we look forward to fulfilling their confidence in us over the next two years,” said Dysons CEO Andrew Jakab.

“Our team is committed to delivering seamless passenger experiences and continuing our long-standing contribution to Melbourne’s public transport network.”

This renewed contract will see Dysons continue to play a critical role in supporting network reliability and minimising disruption for passengers while major rail upgrades are delivered.

With more than 20 years of experience in rail replacement operations, Dysons remains a trusted partner in Victoria’s evolving transport landscape.
