Three new zero emission buses are now operating school bus services in Deniliquin and Moama, as part of Transport for NSW’s $25 million initiative to trial zero emission buses across regional NSW.

These battery electric buses supplied by Nexport (Go Zero) will provide a quieter and smoother ride for students from 12 schools including Deniliquin High, Moama Anglican Grammar, and St Mary’s Primary.

Dysons is proud to be part of this 18-month trial, which will see two 46-passenger and one 25-passenger buses transporting hundreds of students each day. This trial is a key step in our commitment to reducing emissions and supporting a cleaner future for regional communities.

“Our partnership with Transport for NSW on this Zero Emission Bus trial reflects Dysons’ commitment to a decarbonised future in NSW,” said Andrew Jakab, Managing Director and CEO of Dysons.

“We’re excited to see how these buses perform in regional settings and the positive impact they will have on our communities.”

This trial also aligns with Dysons' recent success in securing a large portion of the Metropolitan Zero Emission Bus Franchise (MZF), which will see further deployment of electric buses across Victoria.

As we expand our fleet of zero emission vehicles, we remain focused on delivering sustainable transport solutions for both metropolitan and regional areas.
