This week, Dysons’ Indian driver group hosted a special morning tea to celebrate Diwali, the Festival of Lights, and Gurpurab, which honours the birth of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
Diwali, a major festival in Hindu culture, symbolises the triumph of light over darkness, while Gurpurab marks the birth of the first Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak Dev Ji, whose teachings of equality, compassion, and service have inspired millions.
The morning tea offered an opportunity for team members to connect, share traditions, and celebrate the rich cultural diversity within the Dysons' teams.
“We are grateful to our Indian driver group for hosting such a wonderful event,” said Stuart Overell, GM Melbourne Operations at Dysons.
“It’s always inspiring to come together as a team, share our traditions, and celebrate the cultural richness that makes Dysons a special place to work. Events like these help to strengthen the bonds within our team and highlight the importance of diversity and inclusion.”
