Each year, through the Dyson Giving Fund, we’re proud to support local, grassroots organisations making a difference in the same towns and regions where our buses run and our people live.Together, Dysons and the Dyson Giving Fund are backing 11 inspiring community projects across Victoria and southern New South Wales.

These initiatives may be small in size, but their impact is big. They create opportunities for inclusion, connection and wellbeing at the heart of our communities. From women’s health and migrant family support to inclusive sport and disability access, each project reflects our shared commitment to building stronger, more connected communities.

One of this year’s recipients, the GV Afghan Women’s Association, gave us a wonderful reminder of what community connection looks like in action.

When the group applied for a 2025 Dyson Community Grant, part of their plan included transport to their Breathing Space picnic in Wangaratta. Seeing this, the Dyson team at our Shepparton Depot stepped in to help, and three buses full of women and children travelled from Shepparton to Apex Park for a day of celebration and connection.

The organisers shared that “the event was a great success. The buses were full, the atmosphere was buzzing, and families loved exploring the park, sharing food and connecting with the local community.” They added their thanks to Dysons, saying our support “made the day possible.”

From toy libraries and dance parties to wellbeing picnics and community sport, these grants help bring ideas to life and strengthen the local connections that make Dyson communities special.

We’re proud to continue this tradition of giving back and to celebrate the many ways our network supports the people and places that support us.
